In FY13, the Affordable Housing Trust Fund supported an estimated 971 households. In total, gap financing contributed to the development of 59 new rental units, serving households with incomes between 30% and 60% of the area median income (AMI). In addition, other funds went towards the operation of 14 transitional housing programs across the city, consisting of a total 836 beds. Program funds also supported a first time homebuyer program and housing rehabilitation grants for residents living in mobile homes.
Funding Description:
The Housing Trust Fund is funded through housing impact fees tied to commercial development. Funding in FY13 was $2.6 million. It is also funded by the Inclusionary Housing Fund.
