The New Mexico Rental Assitance Program (RAP) uses a combination of state and federal funding to provide rapid rehousing and homeless prevention rental assistance to people in New Mexico who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Program awards funds through a competitive RFP process each year.
Total funding for 2015-2016 for the Rental Assistance Program is $759,723, $270,504.61 from ESG funding and $489,218.39 from State funding.
