The Predevelopment Loan Program (PLP) helps nonprofit and community based organizations, local governments, and public housing authorities plan, finance, and develop affordable housing through individualized technical assistance and flexible below market interest financing. PLP loans may be applied toward predevelopment costs such as rezoning, soil tests, appraisals, legal fees, etc. Eligible organizations may apply for a loan of up to $750,000. Funds both rental and homeownership projects.
The program is a revolving loan fund, with approximately $15 million currently available in the fund.
