The City of Manchester's Affordable Housing Trust Fund provides funds to ffordable housing developers and non-profit organizations for operating expenses, rental subsidies, rehabilitation work, and new construction of affordable housing.
Manchester’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund receives funding as part of the Community Improvement Program, through an annual allocation process. The funding in recent years has been very small, not exceeding $50,000 a year. In FY13, about $25,000 was available, used primarily for rehabilitation and preservation purposes.
