The Homeless Housing and Access Revolving Loan Fund provides guarantees of rental security deposits and first month’s rent. In the event of a default, the landlord is reimbursed for the amount of the security deposit. The program serves applicants that do not currently have a permanent address. The program served 139 households in FY12. There is no income eligibility requirement for this program.
The state contributed $50,000 towards the program through the Department of Health and Human Services in FY12. This is a revolving loan fund.
