Eviction Prevention Program
How Can You Help?
The National Low Income Housing Coalition is providing this data as a public service. NLIHC will continue to update the database. The accuracy of the data is based on information provided by the programs' administrators and user submissions.
Households are eligible for the Eviction Prevention Program if their income does not exceed 60% of the state median income, and they are at risk of becoming homeless or are in imminent danger of eviction or foreclosure. No family can receive grant assistance of more than $1,200 in an 18-month period. Assistance is provided through both mediation and access to a “rent bank”, through which eligible families can obtain funds to cover their rent or mortgage.
The program is state-funded through the annual appropriation process.
