Through the Congregate Housing Program, an operating subsidy is available for both operations and services to state-financed congregate housing. Funding supports both the difference between 30% of income and actual rent, and the cost of congregate services. This program includes 24 facilities and currently serves 985 individuals.
Program is state-funded with funding from the State General Fund. Allocated funds were $7,282,393 in FY13-14.
